Peter has considerable experience and a deep knowledge of sales and marketing, customer centricity, management and change in a wide range of organisations.
He has a passion for effective business-to-business stakeholder engagement and customer focus derived from his track record as a managing director, director of business development, national sales manager and business development manager with large corporations and small to medium enterprises. His career has included senior roles with Hewlett Packard, Optus Communications, Mayne, Tektronix and he has managed his own training and consulting companies since 1996. As a trainer and consultant, he has worked extensively with commercial, industrial and government businesses in several countries and has trained over 8000 people in management skills. His education includes Electronic Engineering (RMIT), Business Administration (Macquarie University) and accreditation in services marketing, export marketing, strategic alliances, project and program management, change management, team leadership and customer-focused culture. He is, or has been an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Australian Sales Institute, a member of the Project Management Institute, a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development and a founding member of the Association of Change Management Professionals. His not-for-profit roles have included Joint Founder and State Chairman, Officer Training Unit Association, Trustee then Life Governor, Shrine of Remembrance Melbourne, Chairman, Gallipoli Oaks Project Advisory Committee, National Trust of Australia (Victoria), Convenor, Woodend Avenue of Honour - Wall of Remembrance Project, President – Woodend RSL Sub-Branch, 2018 – 2020. He was awarded RSL Life Membership in 2020. |
